Video Game Creation & Design
LEARN FRONT-END GAME DEV
Students build full scale side scrolling arcade video games by designing and animating their own creations using color coded building blocks, 13 bit pixels, and animation frames establishing the foundation for front and back end game development. This class dives into the magic of animation and teaches coding fundamentals through the systematic process of design thinking to grasp the basic coding principles: Events, Conditionals, Data, Testing, Debugging, Decomposition.
Upon completion of the program students' games will be published for family and friends to enjoy!!
